I went shopping for groceries one day as a customer after being a butcher for 6 plus years. It was then that I realized that there was a better way to shop for meat. As a butcher at a grocery store, I rarely bought packaged items. I would cut my steaks the way I liked them and grind the beef that I needed. When this was not an option anymore, I opened Dixie Meats.

I wanted to build something that was a fully customized butcher shop with great one-on-one service for each customer. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone that has shopped and supported Dixie Meats and to the ones who spread the word. It means the world to me and my family. I will work hard for every customer that walks in my door with great gratitude.
